Airlane Golf Club: Affordable Golf Club in Halifax County

Welcome to Airlane Golf Club in Goffs, Halifax County. Located directly behind the Halifax International Airport, this regulation 9-hole, 6016 yard, par 36 layout is within easy reach of most Halifax/Dartmouth residents. Aircraft enthusiasts will appreciate the close-up views of incoming planes from various vantage points throughout the course. You will enjoy walking the two par 3s, five par 4s and the two par 5s on this relatively flat layout. For the less adventuresome, golf car rentals are available.

 

With both white and red tees available, the course will challenge golfers of all skill levels. The ability to shape your shots is a definite asset as this course features a number of left and right doglegs. Some well-placed hazards in close proximity to our medium-sized bent grass greens will test your shot making abilities.

 

A number of improvements to the course over the past few years have greatly improved the playability of the course. Hole #8 and #9 were replaced in 1997, which increased the par and added some length to the course. The relocation of the 7th green brought an existing pond into play, adding some excitement to this par 3. A large bailout area to the left of this hole has been provided for the less experienced golfers.

 

Also, the reconstruction of the 6th hole now offers a much larger, more receptive green. Protected by a small pond, a bunker and strategically positioned trees, this green adds a new dimension to the course. In 2011, the short 2nd hole was replaced with our new par 3 Signature hole. At 177 yards, this par 3 adds more length to the course and provides a spectacular view of an incoming aircraft. 2015 saw the lengthening of the 2nd hole and the addition of a pond to the corner of #3's dogleg. In 2020, the completion of a new, more receptive green added some yardage to the 1st hole.
